Agile-Marketing-Series-What-is-Agile-Marketing

Getting involved with digital marketing is one of the smartest things you can do for your business. Digital marketing gives consumers the access to products and information at any time or anywhere. While it’s not impossible to run a business without digital marketing, your company would be at a severe disadvantage. However, when approaching this field, it’s important to remember a few key things which will make your marketing strategy much more responsive and more specifically, agile.Agile digital marketing is an up-and-coming strategy that will soon become imperative in digital marketing campaigns. While there are many ideas to improve digital marketing’s agility, here are a few simple ones to implement for your business.

  1. Setting Goals: Of course you want to see results. Why else would you engage in advertising and marketing in the first place? However, just focusing on the results and nothing else would bypass a lot of important milestones in your campaign. Setting goals are the stepping stones to your optimal results. If you align these smaller goals with your company’s bigger goal, the results you desire will be easier to obtain.
  2. “80% good is better than 100% never”: This saying is especially true in digital marketing. Yes, we want to be perfect always, but that is just not realistic. While your website or advertisement may not be ideal at the moment, it is 100% better than nothing at all. If there’s something you don’t like about it, you have chances to improve in the next draft. Striving for perfection is counterproductive, and may cause you to give up before even starting. In order to make your digital marketing competitive, don’t set unrealistic goals of perfection. Set it up so that at least 80% is good and make changes as need be.
  3. Simplify: A very important way to make your company’s digital marketing more agile is by simplifying. It may seem like having multiple steps will protect you and guarantee success, but the opposite is true. Agility requires simplicity. It is not about quantity, it’s about quality. To ensure that your digital marketing campaign is agile, reduce the extra steps to a couple simple ones.

If you google “agile digital marketing” you will find a plethora of results. Nowadays, being agile in marketing is an essential component to your marketing strategy. These approaches are just a few ways to make your tactics in digital marketing more agile, and they will give you an edge when dealing with your business.
