A local home remodeling store specializing in countertops recently wanted to expand its online sales. With a strong focus on reaching customers who are ready to make purchasing decisions, they partnered with Vici Media to create a targeted digital campaign that could drive online orders and maximize their return on ad spend

Digital Strategy: Reaching Customers Where They’re Most Engaged

To connect with potential customers, Vici Media crafted a dynamic Social Mirror campaign, launched in January 2021. Social Mirror Ads allow advertisers to mirror the look and feel of organic posts on popular social media platforms. For this campaign, we used Pinterest, TikTok, and Twitter, delivering a mix of display and video ads designed to catch users’ attention while they scrolled

Our targeting strategy was laser-focused. Using Behavioral Targeting, Keyword Targeting, Artificial Intelligence, and Retargeting, we reached an audience of homeowners, DIY project enthusiasts, Pinterest users, stay-at-home parents, HGTV fans, older millennials, and real estate investors—people most likely to engage with home improvement content. The ultimate goal was to encourage these audiences to shop directly from the store’s website, providing all the tools and materials they’d need for their home projects in one convenient online shopping experience

Results: Campaign Success That Speaks for Itself

What started as a test campaign quickly proved to be an undeniable success. The campaign has been renewed three times for a total of six months due to its impressive performance

  • 61 click conversions and over 2,800 view-through conversions
  • 953 view-through conversions and numerous click conversions specifically to the “Order Confirmation” page, indicating strong purchase intent
  • A click-through rate (CTR) of 0.76%, more than 10 times the national average

This campaign not only delivered immediate results but also showcased the value of highly targeted Social Mirror Ads for the remodeling industry. By engaging customers where they already spend time, we created an effective path to purchase, ultimately increasing the store’s online revenue and delivering clear results
