A local restaurant specializing in brunch, specialty nights, and football watch parties was looking to increase attendance and drive more traffic during their promotional events. With enticing food and drink specials, live entertainment like 90s-themed parties, and karaoke nights, they aimed to attract new customers and maximize their revenue

Strategy: Targeting the Right Audience with Social Mirror Ads

To boost attendance for these events, we launched a comprehensive digital campaign using Social Mirror ads, combining several targeting strategies. We specifically focused on reaching an audience that fit the restaurant’s vibe—foodies, college students, millennials, karaoke enthusiasts, and more. By using categories like Bars, Craft Beer Enthusiasts, and Sunday Football Diners, we zeroed in on people who were likely to enjoy the restaurant's specials

We also took advantage of keyword targeting to reach users searching for terms like "90s cover band," "Friday night karaoke," and "places to watch football near me." The result was a highly targeted audience who would be drawn to the restaurant's special promotions

Additionally, we utilized machine learning and AI to optimize the campaign by retargeting users who had shown interest in the past 60 days, ensuring the ads reached the right people at the right time. The creative strategy included a mix of carousel ads, single images, videos, and stories, keeping the campaign fresh and engaging

Results: A Significant Boost in Engagement and Revenue

Over the course of just three months, the campaign yielded outstanding results

  • 403,614 impressions served to the target audience
  • 2,847 clicks, leading to strong engagement
  • A click-through rate of 0.71%, over 10 times the national average for display ads
  • 202 click conversions and 54 view-through conversions

The client saw a significant increase in revenue and website traffic, with a noticeable uptick in foot traffic to their restaurant for their specialty nights. As the client shared, "The campaign resulted in a significant boost in revenues and web traffic.
