A local preservation society has long been committed to encouraging the restoration and maintenance of historically and architecturally significant structures, keeping the beauty of the past alive in the modern world. Their efforts have helped preserve numerous homes and buildings across the city, and the movement continues to inspire others. Every fall, they host a tour of these stunning homes to celebrate their preservation efforts, and for their 45th anniversary, they wanted to make the event their biggest yet. Crafting a Digital Strategy to Showcase the Event

With the visual appeal of historic homes and a grand event that drew both local and regional interest, we knew that a strong social media campaign would be key to promoting this event. Results That Celebrated Success

The results of this digital campaign exceeded expectations. The event was the second-highest attended in the preservation society’s history, with 1,500 tickets sold—79% of which were purchased online. The ticket purchaser data showed a significant boost in out-of-town visitors, contributing to the highest sales numbers the society had seen to date

Facebook and Social Mirror ads combined to deliver a click-through rate (CTR) of 1.07%, far surpassing the national average and driving the event’s success. The preservation society was thrilled with the outcome, and the tour not only highlighted the beauty of these historic homes but also demonstrated the power of a well-executed digital strategy
