In the competitive world of local tourism, standing out is key. One outdoor shopping and dining complex wanted to drive more traffic to its stores and restaurants by appealing to local families and Hispanic customers. By partnering with Vici Media, they tapped into an innovative digital strategy that combined targeted social media ads with radio advertising, showcasing everything from new restaurant openings to seasonal events

Strategy: Engaging Families and Hispanic Audiences with a Tailored Campaign

To connect with parents and Hispanic customers, we implemented a Facebook/Instagram Premium campaign using precise audience categories. We reached various family segments—from parents of toddlers to parents of young adults—and included interest-based categories such as Foodies, Wine Lovers, Shopping Enthusiasts, and Family-Friendly Activities

By retargeting those who had visited the client’s website within the past 60 days, we maximized our reach among people already interested in the complex. Additionally, we partnered with a local radio station, leveraging its listener database of parents of young children and used Custom Audience Matching to reach listeners online

The creative approach mixed video and carousel ads to keep the content fresh and engaging. To amplify results, we created a Lookalike Audience, reaching people with similar interests to those who had already engaged with the ads

Results: Unprecedented Engagement and Audience Reach

In just five months, this campaign delivered powerful results

  • 2.48% click-through rate (CTR)—35 times the national average!
  • 529,385 impressions and 13,115 clicks, making it a high-impact campaign for visibility
  • 85,897 post engagements, including actions like clicks on calls-to-action, profile clicks, and site visits
  • 1,018 post reactions (likes and emojis), 147 post shares, and 49 post comments

And best of all, the complex saw a meaningful lift in attracting its target audience, saying, “We saw a big lift in attracting the Hispanic audience and families.” These results highlight how a customized digital strategy can effectively bring customers to the door, building long-term loyalty and brand awareness
