A local community college wanted to connect with a wide range of potential students—from high school students and their parents to adults seeking continuing education or professional certificates. Recognizing that each student’s path is unique, the college aimed to spread a message of support and guidance through a branding and awareness campaign. They partnered with Vici Media to help achieve their enrollment goalsThe Strategy: Targeting Key Audiences for Enrollment CampaignsVici Media designed a multi-product digital strategy focused on promoting enrollment for the college’s Winter, Spring, and Summer semesters. The campaign targeted key audiences, including high school students, parents, and adults looking for further education opportunitiesWe started with a Mobile Conquesting campaign (using behavioral targeting, geo-fencing, and geo-retargeting) paired with an Amazon campaign (featuring behavioral targeting, product targeting, and retargeting) to drive enrollment for the Winter semesterAs the Fall semester ended, we promoted the Spring semester using Mobile Conquesting and added Cross-Platform targeting with Social Mirror ads. We also replaced the Amazon campaign with a strong presence on Facebook and Instagram using category targeting and retargeting, focusing on upcoming enrollment deadlinesFor the Summer semester, the strategy continued with Mobile Conquesting, Cross-Platform targeting, and a renewed push on Facebook and Instagram, promoting specific courses to engage a broader audience

The Results: Impressive Growth in Enrollment

Initially, the campaign started with Mobile Conquesting and Amazon, but after assessing performance, we adjusted the strategy to include Cross-Platform targeting, Social Mirror, and Facebook/Instagram. The result? The college saw four times higher enrollment in January 2023 compared to the previous yearThrough campaign optimization, the college also learned that brightly colored ads and those featuring students or faculty members received the highest engagement.
