A marketing solutions agency recently launched a new online business directory, designed to promote local businesses across various sectors such as financial services, healthcare, education, real estate, travel, tourism, retail, and restaurants. To spread the word and drive engagement, they needed a strong digital marketing strategy that could effectively reach B2B decision-makers in their local area. That’s when they turned to Vici Media

Crafting a Targeted Digital Strategy

To help the agency promote their “open for business” directory, we developed an online campaign centered around Social Mirror Ads. This strategy was designed to boost visibility for local businesses and make it easy for potential customers to find them by zip code or city

Our primary target audience included small business owners, entrepreneurs, C-suite executives, and marketing or research decision-makers. We focused on a 50-mile radius around the local area, using B2B Behavioral Targeting to zero in on the most relevant audiences. A key element of this strategy was leveraging LinkedIn Social Mirror Ads, allowing users who clicked on the LinkedIn icon to be directed to the agency’s LinkedIn page. Users who clicked the “Learn More” button were taken to a dedicated landing page where business owners could create their directory listings

Results That Delivered

The campaign’s results exceeded expectations. Over 100,000 ads were served, generating 790 clicks and a click-through rate (CTR) of 0.79%—more than 11 times the national average of 0.07%. The client was thrilled with the success of this test run, noting not only the high CTR but also the increased brand awareness created for their new directory
