The Strategy: Targeting Parents Through Amazon Video and OTT

Vici Media crafted a tailored campaign using Amazon Video and OTT to target key audiences, specifically parents and households with young children. Our multi-level Amazon targeting strategy focused on behaviors such as

  • Parents with children in the household
  • Users of preschool-age products and dental supplies
  • Custom audiences based on searches or purchases of children's products like toothbrushes, toothpaste, toys, apparel, books, movies, vitamins, games, and music.

By targeting these behaviors, the campaign directly reached parents who were most likely to be in need of pediatric dental services, ensuring the messaging resonated with the right audience

The Results: From Underperforming to Outstanding

When the campaign initially launched, it struggled to generate high engagement, with a 0.27% CTR—almost 4x the national average, but still underperforming in terms of conversions. Recognizing the need for optimization, Vici Media’s digital team quickly stepped in to assess the situation

To improve performance, we made strategic adjustments that included expanding the geographic reach and introducing fresh creative assets. These changes paid off dramatically

  • After optimization, the campaign achieved an impressive 0.93% CTR, 13 times the national average.
  • The campaign also saw 83 click conversions and 13 view-throughs, resulting in a significant uptick in patient appointments.
