This local apparel store offers a wide range of clothing, merchandise, and gifts tailored for students, alumni, faculty, staff, and dedicated fans of the university. With the busy holiday shopping season approaching, they sought to attract more customers both online and in-store

Digital Strategy

To achieve these goals, we launched an innovative campaign utilizing Cross Platform Targeting. This strategy combined Mobile Conquesting with targeted ads on Facebook, ensuring that potential customers saw the store's promotions on their mobile devices and across other platforms

The campaign focused on a large geographic area surrounding the university, capitalizing on the store's proximity to its primary audience. Initially, the campaign promoted a limited time offer of a free gift with any purchase. As the shopping frenzy of Black Friday through Cyber Monday approached, we shifted the messaging to highlight exclusive discounts to entice shoppers even further

Results

The results of this campaign were impressive! It generated over 1,300 click conversions and more than 8,300 view-through conversions. Notably, over 1,000 of the click conversions were directed to the “cart page view,” indicating strong purchase intent. Furthermore, more than 5,500 view-through conversions also led users to the cart page, showcasing the effectiveness of our approach

The campaign boasted a click-through rate (CTR) of 0.86%, which is over 12 times the national average! By initially engaging users through Mobile Conquesting and later serving ads on Facebook, we facilitated a seamless shopping experience. This allowed users to browse and purchase on larger devices, significantly driving online sales
