Recruiting a large pool of potential employees for a State Correction Center can be a challenging task, especially when there are constant job openings across multiple departments, including law enforcement, security, maintenance, administration, and more. Strategy: Targeting Diverse Job Seekers with Multi-Channel Ads

To meet the center’s needs for filling various roles, Vici Media designed a multi-channel digital strategy that targeted job seekers with a range of interests across multiple fields. The goal was to connect with potential applicants who were interested in careers in law enforcement, security, maintenance, and administrative roles

The strategy utilized YouTube, Facebook/Instagram, and Native ads to target a broad yet relevant audience. Each platform was used to promote the center’s job benefits, starting pay, and highlight all available positions in a way that directly engaged job seekers. The creative and messaging for each ad strategy was carefully tailored to appeal to different interests within the target audience

The ads drove traffic to a landing page that listed current job openings, making it easy for potential employees to view and apply for available positions

Results: A Continued Success in Recruitment

The results of this campaign have been remarkable and sustained, with the campaign running continuously for almost two years. So far, the campaign has served over 3.3 million impressions, including

  • 1.6 million Native ads (May 2019 – March 2020)
  • 364,000 YouTube ads (Starting April 2020)
  • 1.3 million Social media ads

Facebook consistently delivered the highest click-through rate (CTR) of 3.57%, which is an impressive 51 times the national average. YouTube, on the other hand, generated a substantial number of click conversions, totaling 196 along with 128 view-through conversions

This campaign has proven to be a game-changer, bringing increased visibility to the job openings at the correction center and creating a steady stream of qualified applicants. The campaign’s continuous success and renewals over the last two years speak to the effectiveness of this targeted, multi-channel approach
