A Targeted Digital Strategy to Reach Parents
To effectively engage parents within the school district, we launched a three-month campaign combining Native ads and Mobile Conquesting. Each tactic was selected to capture attention where it mattered most
For the Native ads portion, we targeted parents within the district who were in-market for childcare and education, honing in on a demographic that was most likely to convert. This ensured that we reached families who were already actively seeking educational solutions for their children, making it easier to highlight the benefits of the school district’s online programs
We also used Mobile Conquesting, geo-fencing specific locations where parents were likely to visit, such as local parks, schools, and libraries. By targeting these locations, we could serve ads to parents in real-time as they took their children to these places and then retarget them later, increasing the likelihood of engagement. This strategy ensured that the ads were visible to those who were most likely to consider enrolling their child in the online programs
Impressive Results: Higher Click-Through Rates and Conversions
The numbers show just how effective this campaign was. Over the course of the campaign, the Native ads served more than 450,000 impressions, while the Mobile Conquesting ads delivered over 300,000 impressions, with a combined click-through rate (CTR) of 0.76%. This CTR is more than 10 times the national average, demonstrating the power of targeted digital ads
Through the use of a container tag installed on the school district’s website, we were able to track over 4,000 click conversions directly from the campaign. Perhaps most importantly, the district was able to enroll at least 20 new students in their online programs, generating a savings of $178,000 to $214,000 for the district and its taxpayers over the course of the school year
