To connect effectively with Spanish speakers eager to improve their English skills, we crafted a campaign tailored to specific zip codes. Utilizing both Facebook and Native advertising platforms, we emphasized the message, “Learn English for Free!” in Spanish, paired with a clear call to action: “Learn More.”
Our targeting strategy focused on Spanish-dominant Hispanics and those interested in learning English, specifically reaching users with their browser settings in Spanish. This approach ensured that the campaign resonated deeply with the intended audience.
Over the course of the multi-month campaign, we achieved remarkable results. The initiative served a staggering 557,667 impressions, translating into 13,617 clicks and an impressive click-through rate (CTR) of 2.44%. This performance is a remarkable 34.88 times the national average of 0.07%. Notably, the Facebook component alone reached 37 times the national average, while our Native ads contributed nearly 600 view-through visits to the university’s website.
The impact was clear: social conversions totaled 3,687, with over 150 post shares amplifying the campaign’s reach. The university reported that the campaign was a tremendous success, with all sections of the ESL program at full capacity, and some even generating waiting lists.
