When a local jewelry store approached us, they had a simple but impactful goal: reach a broader audience within their community and showcase their diverse range of products and services. With offerings that spanned from engagement rings to Pandora products and fashion accessories, the store wanted to drive awareness while staying relevant across each season. Our team crafted a multi-faceted digital strategy to help them achieve these goals and ensure a steady stream of engaged customers

The Strategy: Layered Digital Targeting to Engage Shoppers Year-Round

To reach potential customers effectively, we implemented a Behavioral Targeting and Retargeting strategy with Display Ads and a mix of Category Targeting, Geo-Fencing, and Geo-Retargeting through Mobile Conquesting. This layered approach allowed us to connect with customers based on both their online behaviors and physical locations, ensuring our client’s message reached jewelry shoppers on all fronts

Reaching Jewelry Lovers with Behavioral Targeting

We began by identifying individuals interested in jewelry-related products, such as bracelets, necklaces, watches, Pandora items, and general fashion accessories. Using Behavioral Targeting, we refined our audience further to focus on people with an interest in seasonal products. Our ad creative changed with the seasons to match shifting customer needs and interests. During the winter months, for example, the campaign highlighted holiday gift ideas; post-holiday, we shifted the focus to Pandora jewelry. When spring arrived, we showcased engagement rings to appeal to couples planning their big day

This tailored, seasonal messaging helped keep the brand top-of-mind as consumer interests evolved throughout the year

Standing Out Among Competitors with Geo-Fencing and Geo-Retargeting

To ensure our client stood out among local competitors, we used Geo-Fencing and Geo-Retargeting to target individuals who visited other jewelry stores. By serving them ads with specific offers and messaging, we reminded potential customers that our client’s store had an extensive selection perfect for any occasion, whether it was a holiday gift, a spring accessory, or an engagement ring

Results: High Engagement and Long-Term Campaign Success

Originally planned as a three-month campaign for the holiday season, the results far exceeded initial expectations. Impressed with the results, the client extended the campaign another three months—and then decided to keep it running for the remainder of the year

In just six months, the campaign drove impressive engagement, including 191 click-through conversions, 217 view-throughs to their website, and approximately 180 in-store visits
