A local home furnishings chain, boasting two locations and a wide array of products—including furniture, mattresses, bedding, rugs, and lighting—sought to amplify its already successful digital marketing efforts. Previously utilizing Amazon Video Targeting and Mobile Conquesting Display & Video, the retailer was eager to expand their reach and effectiveness. Amazon Video Targeting harnesses data from Amazon to deliver video and OTT ads across various devices and platforms, while Mobile Conquesting engages users with display and video ads on their mobile devices, employing strategies such as behavioral targeting, geo-fencing, and geo-retargeting

A Strategic Enhancement

To leverage the power of video in their messaging, the client decided to integrate Over-The-Top (OTT) advertising with Visit Tracking into their campaign. This addition allows us to target specific individuals on their connected TV devices while tracking visits to their store locations from users who have seen the video ads. This tracking was crucial for measuring return on investment (ROI) and was identified as a key performance indicator (KPI) for the client

The behavioral targeting strategy focused on consumers “In-Market for Home Furniture,” “Mattress,” “Recently Moved,” and “Home Remodeling.” By incorporating Artificial Intelligence, we could refine our targeting further, ensuring we reached the most relevant audience

Remarkable Results

The results of this enhanced campaign were impressive. After integrating OTT with Visit Tracking, the retailer experienced a total of 166 verified store visits across their two locations. To qualify as a verified visit, consumers must be served an ad, visit one of the client's locations within two weeks, and have their location settings enabled on their device while actively browsing online. To ensure the accuracy of this data, we employed a dual verification process using Numerator and Media Rating Council

Given the significant increase in verified visits and overall campaign effectiveness, the client was thrilled with the results and has chosen to renew their campaign for continued success
