As the 2023-2024 school year approached, a local elementary school sought to increase student enrollment by showcasing its standout arts and music programs. To reach local parents and highlight the school's innovative approach, they turned to Vici Media for a targeted digital marketing strategy

A Multi-Faceted Strategy to Reach Local Families

Vici Media crafted a comprehensive digital strategy that combined Facebook/Instagram Premium ads with local radio station promotions. The target audience was families with children between the ages of 3-11 years old. We focused on categories like Parents with preschoolers, early school-age children, and preteens, along with interests in child development, primary education, private or charter schools, and parenting styles. Additionally, we included categories specific to the school’s arts and music programs, such as Music Education for Young Children, Instrumental Music Education, and Vocal Music Education

By incorporating retargeting from the school’s website, we ensured that anyone who had shown interest in the past 60 days was captured. The campaign also leveraged the local radio station’s listener database to reach parents of young children, and a Custom Audience Matching strategy to target listeners while they browsed online. To amplify the reach, we created a Lookalike Audience for further targeting through digital ads

The campaign featured engaging video ads to effectively showcase the school’s programs and unique offerings

Impressive Results: Record Engagement and Enrollment

Within just three months, the campaign delivered outstanding results. The school achieved a click-through rate (CTR) of 2.04%, which is more than 29 times the national average. The campaign generated 389,045 impressions and 7,951 clicks, as well as 69,083 post engagements, which included clicks on calls-to-action, profile visits, and site clicks. The school also saw 294 post reactions, 30 post shares, and 15 comments

According to the client, the campaign was highly effective in reaching parents they hadn’t previously connected with, leading to a significant increase in awareness of their programs and, most importantly, a boost in enrollment numbers for the school year
