When a local high school needed to fill positions in its nutrition department, they knew reaching the right candidates would require a focused digital marketing strategy. Committed to providing healthy meals for students, the school sought part-time workers with food handling experience and a passion for helping young people thrive. To connect with job seekers, they partnered with Vici Media to run a highly targeted digital ad campaign

Strategic Digital Marketing to Attract Job Seekers

Vici Media designed a Facebook/Instagram Premium campaign aimed at individuals aged 18 and older who were actively seeking entry-level or part-time jobs. To specifically reach those with food service experience or interest, we used targeting categories such as Part-Time Work, Temporary Work, Food Service, Entry-Level Job, Freelancer, and Self-Employment. Additionally, we utilized retargeting to focus on individuals who had previously visited the school’s website but hadn’t applied, ensuring the campaign stayed top of mind for interested candidates

To keep the audience engaged, the campaign employed video and carousel ads, showcasing the benefits of working in the school’s nutrition department, including flexible hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact

Results: High Engagement and Conversions

The campaign yielded exceptional results within just three months. The client achieved a click-through rate (CTR) of 2.22%, which is over 31 times the national average. With 322,980 impressions and 7,168 clicks, the ads resonated strongly with job seekers. Engagement was high, with 80,820 post engagements, 269 post reactions (including likes and emojis), 140 shares, and 10 comments. Additionally, the campaign generated 1,384 click and view-through conversions, further driving applications for the open positions

The high school’s partnership with Vici Media led to increased awareness of the available roles and an influx of qualified applicants to the nutrition department
