As Easter approaches, families are on the lookout for festive activities that create lasting memories. A local winery saw an opportunity to capitalize on this seasonal excitement by hosting a special event designed for families with young children. Strategy: Targeting Families with Engaging Content

Understanding the busy holiday landscape, the winery partnered with Vici Media to develop a targeted digital marketing campaign that encouraged local residents with children aged 3 to 8 to hop on over to the event. The strategy involved a combination of Facebook/Instagram Premium and Facebook Event Response campaigns, which allowed for precise targeting using popular categories that resonate with young families

The campaign tapped into well-known children’s shows and characters such as PAW Patrol, Peppa Pig, Sesame Street, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, effectively capturing the attention of parents looking for family-friendly activities. Additionally, it targeted parents preparing Easter baskets by featuring categories like Peeps and Cadbury crème eggs. To enhance engagement, the creative included a mix of collection and video ads that showcased the winery's offerings and encouraged participation

The campaign also employed retargeting tactics, reaching out to anyone who had shown interest in the winery within the past 60 days, ensuring that the message was reinforced to potential attendees

Results: A Successful Event

The results of the campaign were remarkable. Within just one month, the winery achieved a click-through rate of 2.97%, which is over 42 times the national CTR average. The campaign garnered 66,153 impressions and 1,963 clicks, with a total of 6,956 post engagements (including clicks on CTAs, profile views, and site clicks). Engagement on social media was vibrant, with 117 post reactions, 17 post shares, and 209 event responses

Most importantly, the event was a resounding success, leaving the client thrilled with the turnout. “The client was VERY happy with the Easter turnout!” they exclaimed, reflecting the positive impact of the campaign
