A local college, renowned for its high standards and as one of the first accredited nursing schools in the nation, was facing a challenge: they needed to boost enrollment in their nursing programs. To achieve this goal, they turned to a strategic digital marketing campaign designed to engage prospective students effectively

Strategy: Targeting Future Nurses

The college aimed its efforts at a specific audience—high school students aged 16 and older, their parents, and college transfer students interested in pursuing nursing. To reach these groups, we implemented a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that included

  • Social Media Advertising: Leveraging popular platforms to connect with students and parents where they spend their time online.
  • Social Mirror Ads: Mirroring successful content across social networks to maximize engagement and awareness.
  • Online Audio: Utilizing audio ads to capture attention during daily commutes or while engaging in other activities.
  • Live Chat: Offering real-time interaction with prospective students, making it easy for them to ask questions and gather information.

To ensure the campaign reached the right audience, we used a variety of targeting strategies, including Keyword Targeting, Behavioral Targeting, Artificial Intelligence, and website Retargeting

Results: A Surge in Enrollment

The results of this digital campaign were impressive. Over the course of three months, the campaign delivered more than 700,000 impressions, achieving a click-through rate (CTR) of 1.76%—an astounding 25 times the national average. Additional metrics included

  • Engagement Rate: 1.77%
  • Total Click Conversions: 335
  • View-Through Conversions: 91
  • Live Chat Conversations: 605

Most importantly, the college reported a 15% overall increase in enrollment. Notably, their RN-BSN program, which is 100% online, saw a remarkable 59% increase in enrollment, while their MSN program, also fully online, experienced a 57% increase

Impressed by these results, the college has continued its advertising efforts throughout the year using the same successful digital strategies, recently adding Mobile Conquesting to their mix
