Strategy: Engaging New Audiences Through Video, Audio, and Social Media Ads

To capture attention and communicate the benefits of credit union membership, we crafted a multi-channel digital strategy. The campaign highlighted services such as checking and savings accounts, credit builder programs, mortgage loans, and personal loans. To deliver these messages effectively, we created dynamic video and audio ads targeting platforms frequented by younger audiences

Our strategy included

  • Amazon Video and OTT Placements: Ads were strategically displayed to users with interest in financial services, banking, and credit cards.
  • Online Audio Ads and Social Mirror OTT Ads: These reached audiences as they streamed content, reinforcing brand presence and making it easy to engage with the ads.
  • TikTok Campaigns: To maximize reach and appeal to a younger demographic, we incorporated targeted TikTok ads that highlighted key membership benefits.

Results: High Engagement, Increased Traffic, and New Membership Growth

This digital campaign ran from April 1 to August 31 and successfully delivered over 1 million video, OTT, and online audio ads to the target audience. Using audience segmentation, we were able to connect with consumers interested in financial services across various platforms

Key outcomes included

  • High Engagement Rates: The Amazon Video blend and TikTok campaigns saw click-through rates ranging from 1.72% to 2.26%.
  • In-Person Visits: We tracked over 2,000 visits to the credit union’s branches attributed to online audio and OTT ads.
  • Website Traffic Growth: The credit union reported a 300% increase in website traffic during the campaign.
  • Significant Increase in New Accounts and Loan Applications

By effectively reaching and engaging a younger demographic, the credit union achieved its goals of increased brand awareness, site traffic, and new membership growth
